Getting the best deal on a Sandals or Beaches vacation
Everyone likes a great deal, and when booking your Sandals or Beaches vacation it’s only natural to want to make sure you’re getting the best price and value possible. However, there are so many ever-changing promotions and specials going on….how do you know if you’re REALLY getting the best deal on your vacation? Fear not, I’m here to give you the “inside scoop” on all the various ways to save big on your next Sandals or Beaches trip.
Travel Off Season
All of Sandals and Beaches resorts are located in the Caribbean islands, and the periods for the Caribbean “off season” is after Easter up until the start of summer break, late August through the middle of December (with the exception of holiday periods such as Thanksgiving week) and early January. If you’re planning to travel during the peak timeframes of spring break/Easter (typically mid -February thru the week after Easter), Christmas/New Years break and a couple other holiday timeframes you’ll be paying more for both your airfare and room.
Be Flexible Your dates
Many times leaving midweek instead of a weekend will save you money on your flights, just be careful as some airlines don’t offer daily service to every destination. We can help you determine the best travel dates that will save you the most money.
Book as Far in Advance as possible
One of the keys to getting the best price on your Sandals or Beaches vacation is by booking early. Prices have a strong tendency to rise as time goes on and the most desired room categories sell out early. Remember, these aren’t big “mega resorts”. The smallest property in the Sandals chain has only 74 suites and the largest about 540. In comparison to today’s landscape of resorts that have thousands of rooms, their resorts have much more limited availability (not to mention they’re a brand in high demand). A bonus of booking with our award-winning Sandals & Beaches agency is that in the event your room rate does happen to go down, we can usually get your rate adjusted as long as the new rate/promotion allows! HOWEVER…….there are last minute deals! (see below)
Sandals and Beaches Last Minute Deals
If you’re flexible and want a quick 3 or 4 night getaway and can travel on short notice (inside 30 days), then these “last minute deals” can really be great money savers? When select resorts have a gap in occupancy and rooms to fill, they will offer 1 night free on a 3 or 4 night stay. These deals change quickly so be sure to check the below links often. Important to note on last minute deals….no military discount or repeat guest points can be applied to these.

Free Night Promotions
Throughout the year Sandals and Beaches often offers “free night” promotions, such as 6th night or 7th night free, etc. This promo is typically on higher room categories, but it’s a great way to add an extra night to your vacation without paying any extra!

Discounts for military, DOD employees, police officers and firefighters
These discounts can save you 10% on your room and will require you to provide proof of eligibility:

Free Anniversary Night promotion
The Free Anniversary Night offer is valid for clients staying at Sandals or Beaches within 30 days before or after of their wedding anniversary date. It’s one free night (based on a 7 paid night stay) and the offer is only available to guests staying the club and butler level room categories. This promotion not combinable with any repeat guest promotions or point offers with the Sandals credit card. It is also not combinable with any other “free night” promotions Sandals offers. This is a very popular offer with our clients and can save you some big $$!

Sandals and Beaches repeat guest savings
If you’ve visited a Sandals or Beaches resort previously you’re eligible to sign up for the repeat guest program and get a discount on your next Sandals or Beaches vacation. Upon signup you’ll receive 5,000 points (a $125 value) plus bonus points based on the price of your last stay that you can use towards your next Sandals or Beaches trip. Members can receive periodic offers such as bonus points for new bookings.
Attend a Sandals & Beaches “Caribbean Night” event
We hold these events a few times each year and it’s a great way to learn about all that Sandals and Beaches have to offer. Our Sandals & Beaches representative joins us and gives a fun and interactive presentation, and a booking incentive is typically offered for those attendees who make a booking with us within 14 days of the event. Some of these “Caribbean nights” are even virtual (meaning they are presented online and you can “attend” from the comfort of your own couch!). A new and fabulous way to save a bundle! Each Wednesday, for 7 days you can take advantage of an additional 7% off in addition to other current sales and promotions on 7 selected rooms and suites. Purchase Travel Insurance
Life is full of unknowns, and you never know what may happen to cause you to have to cancel your trip. You want to make sure your trip investment is protected in the event something occurs and you can’t go. We offer Travel Guard (which does offer comprehensive medical coverage plus baggage loss/delay, trip delay, weather coverage, etc.) but cancellation must be for a covered reason to receive reimbursement and claim forms and documentation must be submitted to the insurance company.
Without insurance you’ll likely be out a significant amount of money if you need to cancel your trip.
