There has been a recent change to the dates for lobster season in the Caribbean, specifically for the island of Antigua. It previously was year round, however new rules dictate the season to be closed May 1 to June 30.
For those Sandals and Beaches guests who love to enjoy a lobster meal during their vacation stay, we’ve outlined below the Caribbean lobster season by island:
Lobster Season:
o Jamaica: July 1 – March 31 (closed April 1 – June 30)
o Bahamas: August 2 – March 31 (closed April 1 – August 1)
o Turks and Caicos – August 2 – March 31 (closed April 1 – August 1)
o Antigua: July 1 – April 30 (closed May 1st – June 30th)
o Barbados: All year
o Saint Lucia: August 2 – February 28 (closed March 1 – August 1)
o Grenada: September 1 – April 30 (closed May 1 – August 31)
